For now, I've settled with 28/25. Seems to wear completely on the front, and all but the edge of the outer staggered lugs.

I ran 28 psi for a while. Under hard braking, I'd get a lot of front tire shake. 34 psi or more gives much smoother hard braking.

If I go above 30, they give a harsh ride, and wander on the highway.

Not the best pic but I love how these tires look and perform. Mine are 265/75/R16 and my mileage took a blow from 20 mpg to 15~16

I hope y'all have better luck with these tires than I did. I get flat spots after sitting 24hrs, took a ton to balance, the loudest mud terrains I've ever owned (for the past 25 years) & they have radial pull. Worst tires ive ever owned. When I went to Discount to have them make sure I didn't have busted belts or something the guy there stated they're crap tires and they get constant complaints about them. I noticed all these issues right from the start so I thought I'd give them some miles to work it out. Well, after ~4K miles they're worse now than before. Discount is swapping them out at no charge. Good luck with these tires.

You are literally the first person I’ve seen have issues with them (or voiced them at least). Maybe a bad set or something? How long did it take to put 4K miles on them?

I read a hundreds of reviews prior to purchase and am surprised @ my current situation as well! Guy @ Discount said these were all common traits of these specific tires. I told him I read literally 100's of happy customer reviews but he was adamant they were crap. One guy there said he'd dismount the tires from the wheels & check the insides but the other, more experienced guy, said it was a waste of time & to just order different tires.
I got the tires on Feb. 16th of this year.

I agree. I love the look of these tires but the love stops there. Even my wife said "these are the loudest, bumpiest tires we've ever had". She's not in tune w/ANY vehicle whatsoever so when she commented about it, I KNEW there was issues!

I haven't had any of those issues at all. Complete opposites actually, first I've heard of any bad reviews. Sorry to hear

I have noticed the flat spots. It doesn't happen often as it's rare my truck sits for a full day. When it does happen, it's barely noticeable. Thought I was imagining it.

As far as loudness, I find mine are loudest around 55mph. At other speeds, I barely notice them. Still not nearly as loud as some MTs I've heard pass me on the highway.

Other than that, mine seem to have balanced with minimal weights (unlike my Maxx's), and they don't have any noticeable pull.

It’s not a rivalry sir, most people from Dallas are a bit stuck up and look down on people from Houston...

Do you have any rubbing? I'm assuming you are running stock suspension.

Born & raised in Texas. I think Dallas & Houston both suck! Then again, I'm not a fan of any big city.

Calling BS. I'm on 2nd set of STT PROs. Discount Tire here has sold dozens. No complaints. They just cant get em as fast as they sell em. I've had 17 4wds, spread over 42 years. I average over 34k miles a year. Always run mud tires. I've had. BFG Km2's (and first gen m/t bfgs) STTs are lightyears quieter AND better ride. STTs quieter than GoodyearDuratracs. I've had Nitto, Yokohama, and several others. I usually buy something different every new tire just for something different. 2 in a row with STT PROs just because they are such good tires. I'll buy em again when the time comes. 1st set went 53,000 miles. Still in good enough shape to get $100 each. Outstanding for a true mud tire. If they ride rough, you need to find a shop that has a balancer that isnt broken. This is the first time I've ever heard anyone complain....against HUNDREDS of positives.

    285/75r16 load range E's on 8"wide rims @ 34psi.
