    That’s a kettle sour. Not as good as a true sour beer.

    Look for a Flanders red aged in oak barrels. Way way better and not just “sour”. They typically take a year to age though and good ones can be pricey.

    Anything from jolly pumpkin, the bruery or Russian river is a good bet!

    A really affordable Flanders red and what many use as a benchmark for a traditional Flanders red is Rodenbach Grand Cru. Check it out. You owe it to yourself at least once.

    I'm not a guy who gloats/brags but holy shit... Track 7 hosted the Sacramento Beer Weeks closing event yesterday, 3rd annual Track 7 IPA Invitational. Way too much fun. They included a homebrew comp in this year and I took best of show for my NE IPA. They scale up my recipe, package/sell it, and I get to help on brew day. They also enter it into the GABF pro-am category and I get a brewers badge to the GABF. I guess I'm going to Denver. Crazy shit!

    There's a Trader Joes about a half mile from here and they have a pretty good selection of local offerings.
