Crazy story on that one. Sad to hear, but it is their house.

I spooked one last fall up a narrow canyon freeridey trail here in Provo. Scared the piss outta me. Was bombing down and in the trees right next to me came a hella loud "REEEOOOOWWWWW". I set a PR that day for sure.

Traded in the WRX for my new rig. The first thing to go on the truck is my 1up of course.

Im frustrated they killed the cougar. Why not tranquilize it and move it somewhere more remote? Or leave it alone.. after all we are riding in their territory and that's part of riding just like surfing.. why kill a beautiful animal? I feel horrible for the person who died.

That's pretty much standard operating procedure for most animal attacks.

Nice man! So what did it feel as far as good and bad? It took a second to get used to my smuggler, but honestly all it took was one ride going up and down to appreciate its potential.

I was talking to a game warden friend of mine last night about this. His official answer was that when a cat decides that humans are now a prey item, that's not "normal" behavior for them. So even if you relocated it, it still poses a danger, just somewhere else.

His unofficial answer is that all the facts aren't known. Maybe it was surprised, defending a kill, etc.

It pedaled like nothing I have ever ridden before. Compared to the smuggler it also cornered a lot better, but ya, like I said 29 inch wheels are too big for me

Loving my Shred Dogg. Don’t forget, y’all have a GG Rep here in TW. If you’re in the southeast and want to schedule a demo, let me know. And if GG is on your list, I can provide a discount code.

I just left Boise. All the trails should be good to go with the occasional puddles in the usual spots. The drier trails are always the rockier trails (Hull's and Bob's). 3 Bears also drain really well.

One of the main reasons I bought this truck was for MTB and bike road trips. I’ve put over 4000kM (2500miles) of single-track on my Santa Cruz after buying it second hand a couple years ago. Bike is bulletproof. Won’t die. Kinda wish it would because I’m itching for something new.

Saris rack is crap. The ratchets that hold the uprights in place wore out in the 1st year, and they don’t answer my emails asking to buy replacement pawls. Using a rubber bungee to hold the uprights in place for the time being. Will have to get around to calling them one of these days.
