Hmm, I'll have to check. I have an original SSP (ordered first day or two it was out). It seems to be working fine, I didn't give it much thought.

I really like that Fab Fours Premium, but once again not BSM compatible. C4Fab is the only company that makes a BSM compatible rear bumper and I am just not a fan.
There must be money to be made by someone who can design a BSM compatible rear bumper for those of us who like BSM.

I bolted on my All-pro sliders.. on the ground.. by myself.. with no Jack or Jack stands, because I'm not a patient person.

I've been waiting for the same thing, but am now thinking that I should just give it up. For one, I don't know how fragile the BSM system is and when you're wheeling, it's just another thing to break. So I will probably just go for one without BSM support. I'm sure I'll get over it.

Could you not just drill holes in pretty much any rear bumper yourself and install the sensors? As long as there in a relatively similar position, I don't think it would cause an issue.

Sweet! Any chance you have a side shot of the bumper?

Why does everyone mount it to the side of the seat? It doesn't look like there'd be enough room to grab it when the door is closed. Isn't there a way to mount it to the floor so that you can still grab it without opening the door?

BSM is different than the backup sensors (which are the small round sensors you see in the OEM bumper). BSM is a larger device that’s mounted in the corners of the OEM bumper...the sensors are hidden behind plastic and work through the plastic. You can’t see them from the exterior.

Too bad Toyota doesn't put the BSM in the tail light like Ford does...

I figure I have enough light inside the truck already, but I’ll need the flashlight when I get out.

I installed my CB and PA this weekend. I ended up with a SWR of 1 on ch40 and 1.2 on ch1 I really didn't feel like messing with it anymore that's close enough for me. Its almost a perfect match. I went with a President Johnny III, Firestik 5', Hustler SS Heavy Duty Spring, Small Pyle amp for PA, and a Speco 6" all weather PA speaker. I ran it threw my Spod and it seems to be working great.
