Do you have any pics of tearing all down to get the switches in there?

Funny, you ask! Of course I thought about this. I went back and forth on black lugs vs chrome.

I ended up keeping chrome due to:
    • Offset all black wheels and tires since I didn't like white lettering on the outside
    • Didn't have to buy new lugs, could reuse OEM chrome ones
    • Could use OEM chrome wheel locks
    • The sockets of where the lugs go on the wheels I have actually are not painted black like the rest of the wheels so there may be some chrome showing (only a little) even with black lugs - see below

Maybe yours doesn't but mine sure does! Installed completely per the instruction sheet (measured thrice before drilling.)

You're spending all that money on stickers, wouldn't think buying black lugs would matter. You can hardly see the unpainted area where the lugs seat anyways. Looks much better black IMO. Not a fan of the colored TRD.

To each their own! That does look good! I hadn’t seen the black lugs installed on these wheels so I didn’t know how much chrome would still show in the pockets. Hmm maybe I’ll consider it for the future. I do like the little bit of contrast though. That being said, I think it’s the only chrome left on the truck haha. I did have black lugs on my second gen.

I think your truck would look better with the black lugs. It would blend in more. Maybe it's just me, but my eyes go straight to that perfect circle of chrome lugs and that's all I can look at :rofl:and you got a blue thing going on so I can count on you keeping the TRD blue. Change the chrome tho! Still a beaut!

I just checked it again, and it will fit. Needed to push up on the hood a tad. Thanks.

Maybe its me but I have not touched my hood support rod since I installed the hood struts 18 months ago. That is sort of the reason I installed the struts.

I just finnished applying proofing to my doors and have bunch left of material. If someone is interested pm and I will give you good deal on it. You can probably get all four done with what I have left.
