You don't need a air bag if you have a 5 point harness. Just saying.

When I had my 4runner, I replaced the '96 steering wheel with a '98. Had the same problem, I just had to order a different clock spring. I'm assuming you should be able to swap them out just fine. My '98 4runner steering wheel had a clock spring adaptor similar to the Lexus I believe. I was kind of hesitant to replace it, but I did it anyways haha

Went for a few rounds in the octagon (Stealership service dept.) with a rep and the service manager.

Lots of back and forth happened between me and the service reps. TL;DR - They gave me grief, I pushed back for the results that I wanted using the method I asked for in the first place. Success! They wound up performing the second balance with road force and didn't charge me extra.

Wasn’t paying that much attention, i was just under there putting a couple zip ties in one of his fender flares because some of the screws fell off. While i was waiting for him so we can install his bed liner. I just noticed that it was huge compared to my 8.4” in my tacoma lol

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You don't want that Chrysler 9.2, it's garbage, bigger but still weak and their alum driveshafts have a habit of breaking too.

Nah that's what the 5-lug is for. No seats, no seatbelts, no dashboard, no instrument cluster, no airbags, no safety features - the way trucks were intended to be!

Yeah... clockspring replacement is what I thought. I'll probably pick it up when I go back later on.

Yeah it wasn't too bad. I was super afraid it was going to explode on me as soon as I plugged the battery back in lol. It didn't though!

Also, the steering wheel mod looks super cool; I'm thinking I might have to do that eventually.

How do you move the 5-lug if you don’t know how to drive stick?
