    How are you living in such a nice house while in college?!?

    Lol my entire build is college budget. The rent for my apartment is killing the build though.

    I’ve flipped tons of stuff on Craigslist, and two long travel trucks to fund the obsession.

    I chose to go to college local and not move out for two years. With my parents still at 20 y/o.

    Next year I’ll probably be moving out, and my funds will be completely aimed towards paying my rent...and then the student loans for school lol.

    Accounting classes really give me a headache lol. I'm doing a Comm/Business route and really regret doing business. I have done so much math (my least favorite subject) in the last 2 years, that I'm a hair away from quitting.

    Bedrack painted! Tomorrow it goes on, and then maybe getting a rear suspension upgrade on Friday! Rear King 2.5 with adjusters!

    As well as a CMC done. Lets see how terrible my welding skills are, lol. I am going to Big Sur from June 11-15, so doing a little prep for that trip. Followed by Zion the next week, then I'm off to Canada and Alaska (not by Tacoma, lol).

    Might be over doing it with these daily updates but bed rack is on, tent is on (no pic), and new compressor is here!

    Talk to Dustin at FN Wheels. He’ll hook you up! They are FN FX Pro 17x8 +0 rims.

    such a sick build. looking forward to seeing it progress. I'm just starting out my overland build on my new/old 08 DCSB. My family from SD got me hooked into getting into overlanding.
    Just bought a KB voodoo bed rack and CVT Tent. Heading to the shop today to try to price out an OME complete set with the HD dakar leafs. probably will be doing the lift first, then wheels when I save more money ahha. Looking at the same 17inch rims as well and the same wildpeaks! glad to see you like that set up. I also do work as a photographer too, so I can resonate with you waiting on new jobs to fund the project .

    Thanks! Only thing I’d say is go midtravel from the start. I’ve went through 3 different stages, and am finally starting to fork out the money to go midtravel. I wish I just did it from the beginning though and saved myself the headache.

    Look forward to seeing the progress on your truck! Need to find the build thread when it starts (;
