Plus knowing BFG they will be quite expensive.

Will have to wait and see. Doesn't look super impressive but still looks like a nice "lighter" duty mt I guess.

The KM2s are soooo soft and squishy though. I'm not sure you could call them anything but light duty.

I've got em pumped to 40psi on a not super heavy truck. Unless they're lots of plies of Uber soft material I cannot imagine how they're even similar in strength to the Coopers or e KO2s. Plus we've seen these tires rip open looking at tough obstacles haha. They're a car tire with mud terrain lugs. That's said i like them so far, I just don't believe j can be as negligent in my driving habits as I was with the brick wall that was KO2s.

im At 29.5k miles on these cooper stmaxx and they are probably easily making 50k miles. Checked the price again and they are about 70 more a tire then what I paid for them 3 years ago. They r pretty loud now and I’m going to go wider with the next set.

That's a tire for an RC car, but more or less the same thing. :p I'll be watching the reviews, but guessing I'll still never go back to BFGs.

I'm going to kill my Hankooks this season and starting to look into replacements. Just wish someone made something like a 285/85/16 (35x11"). Might end up going down to 285s to get a better selection of tires.

    wasn't saying that for me.

My point is the KM2 is a nice MT for the weekend warrior truck. they are pretty quiet on the highway, wear even easily, and last fairly long.

    good enough :p
285/85? haha that would be something to see.

the 285/80r17 is about as close to that as you'll get I think. but have to run 17s..

You mean 285/75r17? I do like that size, as you get a true 34, just don't want to mess around swapping wheels at this point. Wish there were more options in 295. Happy with that size, just thinking about going with an AT for my next set.

If I had to buy a set today, it would be Duratracs. I think they're one of the best all around tires made. I have witnessed the sidewall issue first-hand, so that concerns me a little, but I've also been around guys that have put tons of miles on them with zero issues. ST Maxx's are high on the list too. They're heavier than most other tires so I don't like that aspect of them.

If I do go with another MT, I would probably give the new Yokohama's a try.

I still think Durtracs will be my main tire going forward for the foreseeable future. After 6 sets on 4 different rigs that see highway, snow, and mud/clay/dirt roads I really can't complain about them.

Every offroad event I've been to in the last couple of years has had some Kenda reps, would totally try one of their tires. They've been a big name for motorsports and finally started making truck tires.

That's unimportant for me, I just want them to work well while they're alive and that seems to be harder and harder to find. 20-30k and I'll be happy. I plan to run future sets to about 50% and sell them to fund new ones.

I’m probably doing the same. That daily life just isn’t meant for MTs
