Well it didn't break, snapped off, bent, cracked, fall apart, blow up.... It's ready. For now. Baja bound in 10 days, who's going?

Hey everyone, I’m in the process of getting a 1st gen tacoma probably a 2000s. Im wanting to put a long travel or mid travel kit on it. What exactly goes into it? What would the total cost come out to roughly? Not just for the kit but for all extra parts and changes done to the truck during the process? Thanks.

You have your choice of $$$$$$ with long travel and $$$ with mid travel.

This if you want to pay someone or buy a lot of top-end equipment and do it yourself. Upward from there if you want to pay a reputable shop and get all the best w/ 4x4.

If you want to do a legit mid travel $6-7 will build you a heck of a rig.

I guess I've been working next to this place since September. Luckily I can get in on the last 3 weeks before summer starts. Figure I'll just take it slow and save some money by not paying anyone to work on my truck.
