Cougars seem way more desperate up around Naches for some reason. We had some run ins last year going up there with some.

I've been looking at getting a G17 but that M&P 2.0 is pretty nice looking.

My buddy has one and it is definitely one of my favorite compacts.

 

You need the wheel lock key too (hope you have it).

@dakotasyota and I ran into a bear this time last year out there as well.

 

Depends on my mood really. These days, outside of bigger game (ie bears) caliber choice isn't as big of a deal. Even 380's have some great ammo choices that big great results.

But my normal everyday carry is either a XDs45 or a Sig p226. Usually the XDs these days though. if im going out in the woods and am actually worried about bear Ill take either one of my 10mm or the 44mag. Or the 12gauge or the 458socom/300blk SBR But that's pretty rare.


I want a Sig p365 once they hammer out the bugs. The firing pin drag is a bit of a let down, especially Sig's response about it.

 

I just moved from Renton after living there for the last 7 years. Renton is not walk friendly and not much of a "city" like Seattle or Bellevue. The only spot that is walkable is the Landing, which is next to Coulon Beach (Lake Washington) and a lot of restaurants and the movie theater.

Anything south of Renton; Kent, Auburn, Tukwila, etc are all not walkable either. I mean you COULD walk and take the bus everywhere but it's not highly recommended. This is why the same house in Auburn sells for 350, sells for 750-850 in Seattle/Bellevue.

I am listing my house in the Fairwood part of Renton, which is close to a golfing community and a little further east here, next week if you're interested.

I think I have been to downtown Renton less than 5 times. We go to The Landing quite a bit though. The restaurants aren't anything special, but they're pretty tasty. I was looking forward to The Lodge opening up and putting Trenchers out of business. Too bad it got nixed. My wife typically does her shopping at the QFC in Newcastle on her way home so I don't mind the lack of a true grocery store, though Target has quite a bit, really.

 

I bought 5x of those $80 FJ steelies and 2 months later apparently I broke one. Woke up this morning to a slow leak, and took it into Discount Tire.

 

Shit... they were about to put in a Lodge at the Landing?! Im there every damn day, that could be dangerous. Usually you can find me at the thai resturant, the gyro house, 5 guys, even potbelly sometimes. Torreros, so much good food.
