I don't want to be a safety sally or jack your sale, but aren't U-bolts a part that should not be reused?...Meaning, they shouldn't be untorqued then retorqued? I was under the impression they are a "torque to yield" item.

    Either way GLWS.

To a point, after miles/time/use. They are not a 1 time use/replace item. Especially some that are this new.

And doesn't that go for every single bolt that has a torque rating?

No worries though. Thanks for your thoughts

    Workin' on it....
Good to know. I just re-used some newly installed U-bolts (maybe 500-1000 miles on them) when I switched out rear shocks & bumps after only 6 weeks of use and was kinda feeling :anonymous:.

    Bump!

I've re-torqued my u-bolts several times to swap leaf packs, add AALs, new bumpstops, etc....no issues here. I also check the torque on them regularly to make sure I don't end up insta-infamous. Bump.
