I do. What kind of trees and what zone are you in? Stone fruit or citrus?

Currently all my trees are smaller since they were in pots until we had our back yard renovated. I also added new stuff this year.

Now in the ground we have Meyer Lemon, Improved Meyer Lemon, Bearrs Lime, Moro Blood Orange, Calamanci, Calamondin,
4-in-one apple, 5-in-one fruit salad(4 years), Fuyu Persimmon, Royal Rainier Cherry, Arbosana Olive, Cereza Gogi Berri, 2 Flame Seedless
grapes and a Thomas Seedless vine (14 years old).

    Zone 6/7ish.

I planted last year, 1 Fig, 1 Plum, 3 Peach, 3 Apple.. I'll have to look at the tags for exact type (I forgot off top of my head)..
Did have an indoor lemon, but it'd died over winter. I was producing tho.

The Peach trees are fruiting, Got some blooms on Apples.

I'm really needing to prune them. But I wanna do it right, obviously don't want to butcher them. I've watched some videos and think I have a decent idea on it. But just wanna triple check, before I do it.
So I guess I'm wondering how you guys prune? that's one question.

I want to plant more and more varieties, not just fruit trees.

Also have some muscadine vine growing good, and blackberry, both of which I planted last year.

What good sources are you guys getting from...? Like non GMO true organic, non tainted sources.

we have a 4-5' fence and once in a while deer jump it :(

We have 2 apple, 1 cherry that are in the ground. I need to get the other 2 cherry tree's planted. Just have to watch what you plant in singles unless it doesnt need a pollinator. Such as the Stella cherry doesnt need a pollinator but the rainer needs a stella to pollinate it. The apples I have are 2 each of golden crisp and pink lady. the Pink lady's didnt flower this year. but the golden crisp did. The cherry that was planted with the house has been lacking something so I fertilized it and this year finally Im seeing cherries on it. its still has some soil issues but hopefully the fertilizer stakes will fix it.

I'm thinking I may need to get another plum, it's not doing so great, neither is the fig.. But i'm no expert by no means. I have a lot to learn. But I wanna get some more anyway.

I'd like to get a couple cherry trees.

It's not too wet of an area, is it? Fruit trees don't like wet feet.

hard to say, could need fertilizer or maybe bugs getting it. Do some research on what cherries you get otherwise you can have problems with pollination and find out you needed more or a different variety to pollinate it ;) we got misinformation on the stella but its ok because the rainier cherry needs the stella...

nope, well drained soil. It would flower nice every year and one year it froze late and killed the buds so you only get one chance to see if its going to produce or not per year. ;) Then I finally found something that said it needs fertilizer, which I thought it would be ok since it was at the edge of the lawn but apparently not. Im actually curious to see what kind of cherries turn out.

Gotcha. I just was thinking of drainage because when I moved in to my current house there was a flowering Crabapple struggling along in a wet part of the yard. I transplanted it after the first year (more because it was in the way than anything, if I'm honest) to a drier spot and it has flourished ever since then.

If you find the tags it really helps. There are two things for fruit trees, although not 100% it's a good guide.
    Chill hours and root stock.
The chill hours tell how many hours in the season under 32* a tree needs to fruit. (This is not 100%, people grow all kinds of apples in So Cal Zone 9/10 with very low chill hour)
The root stock will tell how well it will do under wet, dry or bad ground conditions.
Dave Wilson Nursery has a great guide if you at least know the type of fruit.

    Thanks for the input.

Luckily I left the tags on them haha, except for the fig and plum, not sure about those. The idea was, get everything planted and make a garden log of sorts to document everything, as to not ever forget (especially of it gets to be a lot).

I tell you, from what I've gathered. There is so much to learn when it comes to growing your own food..
IMO this is something that should be/should've been being taught at home if not also in every school, starting in elementary and never stopping..
And taught by people who really know what they're talking about, not just book taught BS, maybe have local farmers/knowledgeable people come in and teach, or field trips to places. Also NOT funded/sponsored/corrupted by companies like Monsanto.

I've been thinking for some time now, just think if everyone with a piece (even if very small) property, grew just 1or2 fruit trees, and maybe at least one vegetable. There would be such an abundance of fruits and vegetables, there'd be no need for going to a grocery store for it. To me that's the way it should be. Sharing food and having more of a sense of community in doing so.

All the countless neighbor hoods with nothing but grass. Developers come in and doze down everything, build, grass, plant maybe a couple small trees, Should've left the mature ones (and planned around them).

Such important VITAL knowledge being overlooked by almost everyone and falling thru every crack made by the system.

Also imagine, parks and play grounds filled with fruit/veg gardens.

End of rant, however this crap bugs me. People need to wake up. Things seem so backasswards

My veggie patch for the summer, 9 tomatoes, rhubarb and some herbs. Usually I pack them in a little tighter and do other vegetables in addition to many tomatoes but this year my neighbours and I are redoing the fences so I left some buffer space. Had to rip out a hedge to the right, which was a major pain, but will provide me with a lot more space next year.

I get my tomatoes from a neat organic farm near me, all are heirloom varieties and I try and pick a couple new ones each year. Lots of fun. Also have three early variety tomatoes in pots on the deck.
