you say you love hanging out with the community but I only notice you always reply in threads where u can tell about the angst and misfortunes u had with buying a Tacoma, not really helping the community u love to hang(moan)with.

Wow, wrong. I've worked at the Subaru plant here in Indiana for 22yrs. Managers are always accessible. Top managers are also on the floor, they need to hear from associates what's going on.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I own both a 15 Subaru OB limited with most all options including . "eyesight" which we love (sort of a forerunner of Toyota's "TSS" as Toyota owns 16 or 18 percent of Subaru, and Subaru has had some iteration of this "Stuff" since 08 . I also own a 17 SR5 V6 AT AC. To compare these two vehicles is really absurd. They both go fine when traction is a issue, and they are both well engineered. The truth is they were designed with different uses in mind, to say nothing of the engine technology and design - "boxer" vs "V" or "in-line 4". I have a few complaints about both of our vehicles, but nothing so serious as to want to try others.
Also the the person who asked a couple weeks ago as to why Subaru dropped a particular "turbo" -- about a year or so ago I casually asked one of the techs at my Subaru dealer where most of the problems with Subies come from and he flat said the "turbo versions"
Oh and BTW our OB DOES NOT burn oil between changes (6K). We have 37K on it

vip pricing is great.. we used it when we bought our outback...

basically its no haggle. take the paperwork that you are emailed to the sales manager and tell them what you want.. you need to know what dealer you will be using ahead of time..

its 2 or 3% over dealer cost. if you want any options on the car make sure you order it because that pricing is only good for what the car came with from subaru not what is added at the dealer.. say ya want a hitch. order the car that way or find one that came from the manufacture that way. if the dealer installs it you do not get the discount that that hitch...

we were treated like royalty once we handed that paperwork in.. they brought the car we wanted up on the computer and said he is sticker, here in invoice and here is what you will pay. i believe we even got the discount on the extended warranty..

our 2016 outback was a great car. really liked it. didn't get anywhere near the advertised MPG but its was a nice car. only reason we got rid of it was because i needed something that would tow 4500 pounds. i'd buy another in a heartbeat...

Yep, the lezburu is called that for a reason lol. Portland is infested with them but I do agree, they are good cars.

Quite a few leeburus around here also. Life partner in the front, dog in the back, social activism stickers all over it. I’ve never owned one but they must be pretty good cars if there are so many of them.
