Wanted to purchase at 2.90. That would have been a few hundred. Now I effectively lost money.

 

I'm stuck. I don't want to get on this train the way it's shooting up right now... but seeing it continue to climb is pissing me off

 

I need it to hit 3.91 for me to not lose money. I’ve got 80 shares I bought at 3.91 and 50 I Bought around 3.30s

 

I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow. Though I have a feeling there's a lot of optimism this time around. Last time before earnings there was a selloff but that was when it was 0.80

 

Me thinks I’m gonna sell at about 4

 

Anyone in $MU? Has done terrific for me the past month. About to roll forward some major profits into long term calls.

$10B stock buyback starting Sept 18, major cash flow, and the one tech stock with a low PE.

If not in, but wanting in, I’d wait for a pullback or jump in around the break of 60.2.

 

I’m only playing with $1000 so I’m not too concerned. I had made 50 off CHK but then SMRT dropped and lost all of that for me. I just want it to go back up to the 3.90s and then I’ll probably sell off. Maybe ride it out a bit if it’s still trending up

 

I am 100% in MU, have been for over a year now. Killing it!

The stock MU, +7.95% surged 7.1% to $59.44 in recent trade, after touching an intraday high of $59.98, and led S&P 500 index SPX, +0.09% gainers. The stock already gained about 4% on Monday, after the company raised guidance for the current quarter.

Following Micron’s analyst day in New York on Monday, 19 analysts hiked their price targets on the stock, raising the average target price to $77.02, up from a previous $73.79. Of the 30 analysts who cover Micron, 24 have overweight or buy ratings, five have hold ratings, and one has a sell rating, according to FactSet data.

Earnings call is tomorrow after market close. There's still time for me to buy in before, but I have no idea what the day will look like tomorrow

 

Whenever I make more money I still leave it in my account. Supposedly you aren't tax till you withdraw

 

But money in the account doesn’t help me buy a homebrew setup if it doesn’t come out...

It "seems" to have settled in, but there's no volume. No telling which way this thing will go before close today. And then tomorrow. And then the next day. Lots of risk here... would make a 0.17 change in price trivial

 

$100+ missed because of stupid robinhood and their stupid volatility "protection"

 

that's pretty much what I told them in my email. I told them I knew what I was doing and missed out on money because of their dumb restriction. And I didn't have lightning fast reflexes to get in this morning in the low 3s. But people have been complaining about it re: google search to reddit about it more than 2 years ago. Perhaps if we complain enough they will allow it to be a setting.
