    Anyone else’s mounting plate figment suck? Mine didn’t come close to locking into the sides and was loose in the channels too.

    Otherwise everything else fit great and looks good.

    I got a Thule ski/snowboard rack super cheap on Craigslist. Snowboard in the winter, transport fishing rods in the summer..

    Right on.... I was thinking this route as well. Ty! Wasn't sure if there was a dedicated rod holder

    I have used a Thule Castaway rod holder on the prinsu, but I believe it's been discontinued. They pop up every once in a while used on various used marketplaces, but I think they go really fast. I'm not sure why Thule discontinued them... they are kind of niche, but it works really well.

    If you're talking about fly rods, then the Rod Vault works. But it's really expensive.

    Do the Prinsu load panels work with maxtrax mounting pins?

    Finally got the last pair of 1” feet I needed on Friday. Mounted my toprac back onto the truck yesterday. Happy to have it all back together. Sits almost flush with the accessrac now. I have a Leer 100XR with the Thule rails. I used a pair of the .5” feet in the middle and a pair of the new 1” tall feet at the front and rear of the rack. Very pleased! I’ll get a better pic later that shows the height difference in the two racks this evening after work.

    I don’t. I haven’t seen any videos of an install for this rack actually. I used the install thread from this site and the instructions that came with the rack. I dropped my headliner and I used through bolts and washers after the rivnuts failed. This thing is solid on there now that I did that. Get some good bits! The drilling is tedious with subpar bits.

    I thought there was no drilling required?

    On double cabs there is no drilling. The racks bolt to the factory location. On the access cabs, since we don't get a factory rack, we have to drill holes.

    It’s just always sketchy to start drilling in your truck. Lol I couldn’t find the thread for the instal you happen to have easy acess to a link? Would be much appreciated.

    Got the boat out yesterday;

    [IMG]

    I ended up adding another hole on the back bar to mount it vertical - that way the Malone boat racks fit behind the sharkfin;

    [IMG]

    When I'm not planning to carry the boat the last bar comes off. The lifts are needed to keep the tip of the boat away from the canopy - should've got a boring flat boat I guess..

    You are missing the trim around the edge of the load panel. You should have received 4 edge trim pieces to go around the load panel. That is what keeps it tight and locked into the t-slots.
