rode Mt.Elden in flagstaff. Super fun trails up there. Like a mid-mountain whistler in the trees.

It was documented that the cougar was malnourished and emaciated. They reported that it was a young male who most likely recently separated from its mother and was looking to find his own territory (and food) between other larger males but couldn’t so it was desperately hungry. There is a very healthy population of cougars in that area as it is monitored consistently. once one attacks a human it recognizes it as prey and is too likely that it will attack someone else again so therefore must be put down.

Also, riding bikes this weekend was fun:

Anybody have beta on good intermediate (upper blue + black) level riding between Pocatello and Driggs?

We have City Creek on the list, the question is rideable trails near the Driggs area.

Campsite (BLM preferred) recommendations are also welcome.

Check out the link below! That's how I found a bunch of sweet trails south of Twin. I haven't been that far east on my bike yet. Let us know how it goes!

I use a similar app trailforks a lot for riding. The one thing these programs will never really tell you is what the locals consider "the goods" which may be why they always have to be hunted for, probably for the best.

How is the riding out at SLC? Im trying to move out that way hopefully soon and was curious on how the area is. Ready to be down with the east.
