I love white pepper for some things, like chicken cordon bleu absolutely needs it in IMO. Black pepper would be too harsh. White pepper is a bit sweeter, not as dominating, but still very peppery.

Made myself some simple baked chicken thighs. They were good but got a little too done and the seasonings got a bit black...but still very edible. A cheap whiskey/coke to go with it.

    Great looking burger !!!!!!!!

Ironic timing on seeing your video.

I really like dicing up jalapeños and onions in my burgers, too.

Gonna make a batch later on this evening. Also making home fries, too.

No coals fired up by me yesterday. Just rested and recovered from a crazy workweek.

My bride & I went out to our local Tex-Mex spot and had a great meal.

Good old Dos Equis Ambar drafts for me and some kinda fruity 'rita for her. Later on she wanted to order dinner....I was content to just nurse another draft, but ordered some steak fajitas that I wound up boxing up and bringing home. She ordered a massive burrito filled with everything they had, I think, lol. Put in a to-go order for my son for when he made it home last night.

I freaking love this spot. Great atmosphere, great food, music is not-so-great but the bar televisions usually have some good game action on.

So.....woke up this morning and was a bit hongry. Ground some beans and brewed a proper pot of java and contemplated how to spend my day off.....I'd originally thought I'd go in and work on a project.....then decided to chill out at home with the family today. Work can wait.

For breakfast I browned some chorizo sausage in a cast iron skillet and then added the leftover steak fajita filling and scrambled a 1/2 dozen eggs w/ cheese, s & p and hawt sauce for the tribe's morning eats while watching the Royal wedding coverage.

Added benefit is that I'll be home when my package from @RedlineTuning arrives later on.

This one was a year and a half old 4 pt... I left the parts with tire marks hangin but both shoulder and back straps were fine. Bake hips took the bill of the impact and the back broke, pretty sure the guts busted butbi wasnt gonna risk openin him up

Last year an 8pt hit @SAWDOG18 tacoma as we were on our way back from setting up deer camp the weekend prior to opener. Field dressed in the side of the road and his father butchered it the next day. A few years ago my buddy and I found a big 9pt on the side of the road on our way back from duck hunting.

Had a quick soak in some bbq sauce, brown mustard, jalapeno juice, mince garlic, salt and... Orange soda cuz we didnt have coke, root beer dark soda etc (only to remember i had beer in the fridge afterwards but i think it will be fine) and then patted dry, salt pepper garlic powder. Got em on a rack and they will sit in the fridge for almost 24 hours and the out side should be as a dry as the Sahara and sear up to perfection
