There was all kinds of space. There was a trailer parking section, but it was at the opposite end of where we were. There was enough space near us that you'd still be able to park a truck and trailer close by.
What is it with Abilene? Snake central right now. Stay safe. Brother's dog is doing better - drinking and peeing on her own how (which is a big deal). Still sick as hell from everything. They're hoping her appetite comes back and she can keep her pills down.
For serial?? YIKES!!! Are they being caused by people who say "de-thaw" and "irregardless?"

Doctor said it's not cancerous and we just have to watch it. I get bad headaches from time to time but I'm ok. I didn't go to Vancouver because of it but I have a follow up in July and then an MRI in September.

Also luckily the Furd isn't total and the frame isn't bent but here's the damage

Glad it isn't cancerous. My neurologist has me on magnesium to help with brain chemistry - and my migraines have gone away. Hope there's something simple like that available for you.

The Ford's toast. Better scrap it and get a Tundra.

Okay, I'll ask, because I know everyone else is wondering. Was it the brain lesion that caused you to buy the Ford?

Glad to hear it's not cancerous, my good man.

Ugh, Murphy's Law: You just got that thing. What kind of things are you supposed to watch for? Excessive swelling? I would expect there to be some headaches and swelling. What's deemed hospital worthy?

@Texoma replaced both front wheel bearings for me on Saturday. Right side was pretty bad so I decided to just do both. Stealership quoted me at $1300 and I literally laughed on the phone when he said that  So I was like, na brah. Ordered two assemblies from RockAuto for $200 and paid Chris (Texoma) $50/hr for about a 1.5 to 2 hour job.

So I ended up saving over $1000 and had some great Army / Navy conversations.

    THANKS AGAIN CHRIS!!

Right now we're just watching for anything worse than my headaches and pressure I feel. Once they do the second MRI they'll see if there are other lesions and see if they would diagnose MS.

If you're looking to camp for the night in NM, sleep in Santa Fe National Forest. You won't regret it.

I just checked it out and it looked outstanding. The only problem is that we’ll be leaving about 2-3p so we wouldn’t get there until like 12-1 in the morning. We’ll probably stay somewhere between the Guadalupe mountains and Carlsbad. I’ll definitely drive through Santa Fe if we can.

When I went to Moab in March, I left at 3:30pm and didn't pull into camp until 5 am. So yeah.... That may not be everyone's thing..... Of course that was with plenty of stops/ dinner along the way.

That’s not too bad. Google maps said it was like a 16 1/2 hr drive.

I had my Side by Side (Can Am Maverick XRS 1000) listed on a few other sites... someone offered me a trade and well as much as I hated these things I decided to bring one home.. Pretty sure I could sell it for more than I would have gotten out of the Maverick.
