Not necessarily it depends on the degree of separation between the Pistons.

    nah, I'm seeing wrong.

I'm having a hard time seeing straight lines anywhere, which just means I'm not good at perspective this way.

Edit: Can we get a pan out of all 6?

Edit2: #3 close ups at least. Something just doesn't seem right.

That thing should roll over unless jammed. I see no sign of rust being the culprit.
Bearings.......eh, maybe. Never seen one "welded". Seen them spun to nothing left but I haven't seen everything....yet.

It's about as neutral as it can be. It's sitting on it's ass.

What do you mean as it can be? It’s either in gear or neutral

DSCN0547.jpg Myself, I would pull the cap off this piston. If it's the problem rotating one way or the other should turn fairly easy. Piston looks scored but could be imaging tricks..should just need 12pt socket and breaker bar.

@Nickj67, look at the connecting rod cap #2. There looks like something wedged between the connecting rod and main cap.

I've got a klx 300 in my shop now that wouldn't turn. It ended up having a rust ring on top of the piston from sitting with water in it for an extended period. I've seen the same thing with jet skis. I think pulling the heads is a good idea. If that's not possible maybe stick a borescope down a plug hole to see what's up.

I am starting to think this engine had a piston go bad and was running rough when it was turned off and seized up from sitting after that.

If you pull caps and push pistons around, put some tubing on threaded studs so you don't scratch the crank.

caps, if he pulls the heads and sees nothing he still has to go back to this. If he pulls caps and the crank moves, he knows it's the cylinders.
