Sorry but at this point I can't. My schedule and the monsoon season have teamed up to prevent me from doing anything at night. My camper is black so its a real black hole in there even in the daytime unless the sides are open. So my guess will be towards the reading side as opposed to the rummaging side. Once my schedule allows, I plan to have white vinyl install on the insides to help with light reflection.

Here are some shots I took at expo this weekend. Pardon the measuring tape, I’m trying to plan my build (#24), so soon! Seeing it in person, it screams quality. The details are the key, and they are there.52B0E24C-3FE2-4CBF-B9C0-78FA2B5460C1.jpg B1561AA3-56AB-4ABD-BF0D-0C7B3FABD411.jpg
Those mounts are solid as hell, no C-clamps like some other wedge campers there.

In the back corner you can see the master power switch for the lights. There’s one on the bottom of the fixed portion of the sleeping platform in addition to the two on the bottom of the roof panel. The wire for the light runs to the driver tail light. Not sure how much I like the wire routing but that’s not a huge deal.

I sat my fat ass on the middle of the long bed panel (230lbs) with no creaking or noticible deflection. Plenty of head room for me at 74 inches.

The front of the tent extends 23” (edit: it’s 21” of overhang!) forward of the bed so it won’t interfere with my NMO ham antenna mount in the center of my roof (2010 access cab, 6’ bed). Total length from front to the back of the bottom extrusion is 96”, perfect for an 8’ awning (or 2.5 meter) on the side.

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and hope to get my call for color and accessory choices very soon!

Anyone ever find out if these will work with priest roof racks?

    Hey y’all

First post here and it’s kinda a cheeky one, I’m #129 as I stupidly waited to see if they were as good as they looked before ordering, they told me to expect in July/August and I’ve got a huge Central America trip planned with 3 other rigs for late August, we have been planning it for over two years and I would desperately love to have the Gfc by then.. long story if anyone is a little higher then me I would be willing to make you an offer to ensure I could get it by mid August at the latest. Dont want to get miles down but if someone was closer to 100 and wanted to swap with me I’d offer more then a case of beer :)

Your comment "The wire for the light runs to the driver tail light" is a little confusing. The wire to the tail light is for the third brake light. The wire for the led light strips goes to an auxiliary 12v source.

I couldn't really tell from the demo video, but how does one get into the tent? from the truck bed? Or is there a ladder to get in through the back?

I hope not. This looks like exactly what I want but plan to use the truck bed to haul/store stuff while traveling.

You use the truck bed to access the tent area. Check out the transform-a-floor on this page: https://www.gofastcampers.com This is a huge part of what makes this type of design so great.

I saw that. And yes this design is awesome I think it misses that point. Or perhaps just accessing the tent form the tailgate. Have to unload and load stuff if your packed full is kinda annoying if say your only stopping to get some overnight rest to then jet off to another locale. But I do love this camper style

It doesn't come with a ladder, but there's nothing stopping you from using one to access the camper from the outside.

I believe they said a ladder attachment was in the works as well for those who didn't want to enter through the floor.

Here you go @2ski4life7. Had to dig a bit but it looks like its in their design pipeline. May have to wait a bit until they have time to make it happen though.

Rather than short videos on IG, I'd prefer more still photos taken with a high quality SLR of various construction details, interior and exterior. It wouldn't require much effort, maybe an hour or so, for the shoot and they could be posted on this thread.
Perhaps some more shots of the manufacturing facilities would be interesting too.

Anyone know how much clearance there is between brace and panel. I'd like to attach a mount with clamps there if there's enough room.
