The fight is good on an 8, can’t imagine it on a 6.

I fish a ton in all forms. I'm still very green at fly fishing. But I understand fish and how to fish for them.

One of them was a cast near a rise and I had taken note on how they were moving back deep afterwards and casted accordingly.

The other was with a good size streamer with a fast strip. I could see repeat flashes chasing so I stuck with that retrieval for the most part.

Man, what a slam when they took it. Thus the March right out to get a 7wt. Hooked on the LLS and LT after 1 trip with a fly.

Lake trout on the fly are great. i have a trophy lake near my house. There's alot to learn, and i spent alot of hours with out catching anything, but learning what not to do. The first time you hook a large LT on the fly is insane keeps me going back!

I have a sage one two handed 13’6” 7wt for Spey. It can huck 100ft of line pretty effortlessly with a 10-foot T-11 sink tip and a bunny leech

I used to tie a lot. Now I just tie up a few patterns that are quick and easy.
