Anybody on here Costa Sunglasses wears? I have a pair of fantails that I had to ship off to get repaired. The rubber on the inside nose piece has come off due to too much wear:rofl: anybody ever have this issue? Did they replace the rubber or send back a new pair? Costa has a lifetime warranty

That’s who has tinted all my vehicles since I moved to Charlotte. Less the current fleet.

I have an old friend from my young running days that did tint for people on the side in his shop. His work was jam up. We ended up working at the same company for many years and he still tinted on the side. Then he decided to make a go of it, and that he did. So, for those of you in the upstate, I highly recommend my old buddy Scott.

I am an oakley man personally. I need a pair that can go fishing, do normal sunglass stuff, then be certified for range use. I don't know if Costa makes anything like that. Oh and if you had Oakley's they come with extra rubber pieces and if you have used all of them you can go to an Oakley store and buy some more. :D

We are getting into semantics then because from what I saw of it if I was looking at the right one) is there was a lot of hackery done to that JK as well. I think once you decide to go crazy with any vehicle there is going to be a lot of expense unforseen and getting things dialed in. I will agree starting with something solid axle can give you advantages at certain points than an IFS vehicle, but at a certain point they'll converge in cost.

I don't know about buying a JK on tons but I do know that on the used market stock vs stock the JKs are pricey or at least the 4 doors are as they were on the short list before I got my Tacoma. The 4 door JKs I saw were just as if not more than my Tacoma but don't have that toyota reliability or longevity.

That’s still a street legal jku. Granted it’s got a lot of modifications. It’s on all off the shelf parts from off-road evolution suspension line. And still on a jku frame.

Costa is mostly fishing, water activities and normal wear. Don’t know about gun range but I don’t see why you couldn’t wear them on the range. I like Costa cus they are polarized and I have super sensitive blue eyes and need the polarization to help with the bright ass sun

Unless the lenses meet ANSI or Ballistic standards depending on the range you go to they won't let you use normal sunglasses. Oh I feel your pain man, my glasses are polarized as well.
