    Just get a 6”.

You need to go 6” if you want the wide wheels/low offset. Keep your eyes on your wheel bearings tho.

Get yourself a torque wrench and crawl under the truck every once in a while and check that everything is still torqued to spec. I know most guys don’t do this but man it takes 10 mins and can save you from a nightmare.

My buddy runs a RC 6” on his dodge and he beats the crap out of it offroad(just mud and little bit of hills/rocks nothing crazy). It has 0 articulation but if you aren’t serious off-road who cares. Enjoy the stance and drive safe on the road.

You bought the most dependable truck, you may want to rethink putting the cheapest suspension/tires known to man on it, but if not that’s fine... but if one of those federals grenades on the highway and you are lifted 6” you better hang on.

Not trying to be a jerk. I have a set of 37” couragias I run on my tundra off-road.

Best of luck to you and please post pics when you get it done.

Those seat covers are super nice btw.

2018 Trd Sport Tacoma Red 6 inch rough country lift, rough country bed cover , rough country step bars, 33x12.50x22 toyo mt's, 22x12 2 piece fuel mavericks led headlights
truck.jpg I have a rough country 6 inch on my truck with 33x12.50x22 on 22x12 fuel mavericks no trimming required, I was going to do a 35 but would not clear for sure with 12 inch wide wheels , I would not go 35s unless you plan to install some 4.88 gears or something I have a automatic .

I bought my truck used with a 6" lift. A few components need upgrading but I like it.

Yeah I see a lot of old trucks with drop brackets and some of them are Rusty but they still look like they will hold up a long time. I don't know what's so bad about a drop bracket you would think its safer than the 3 inch cause it drops everything down.
And thanks love these seat covers they look sick in person. They were a little pricey for 320 but use my truck all the time so dirt stains or grass stains from cutting grass will blend right in

A real beauty. How's it holding up I probably would have been better off in the second generation forum. The 16th and 17th are too new to really know if the new kits hold up good

Full length coils up front. The rear is lifted via a 4" block with stock leafs and a Roadmaster Active Suspension kit. The long term plan is a set of 6" lift Deavers and no block.

It needs upgraded springs and shocks, it's got blocks in the rear and spacers up front. It rides fine and I have no complaints but it needs the proper suspension pieces. As far as looks, I get complimented on it all the time. I love it.

I wanna do it so bad. The cv joints don' look like they're tortured? From rough country close up pics they look pretty straight. What type of lift do you have the bds?

Mainly a mall crawler with some logging roads here and there. I have a 4th gen v8 4runner to beat up doing the hardcore stuff. I went with the BDS kit mainly cause it’s the best 6 inch kit you can get for the money. Comes with Fox coilovers too so it was a no Brainer for me. Annnd not to mention if you are the original purchaser of the kit and anything brakes, BDS will send you a new part, no questions asked.

    Tires are 35x12.50r18 btw.

@4x4srtacoma16 do you plan to regear? That’s asking a lot from the little 4 banger being that y’all with a wide 33

Keep in mind with that Fabtech kit, it comes with a top hat spacer. I hear the nose dive/ride is HORRIBLE with the stock suspension and top hat combination. Best thing to do is to go with a coilover to mitigate any issues.

You can fit 35’s on a 3” lift. I don’t know why anyone would want a six inch lift.
