I've looked a google for quite some time for new tires for the prerunner 1st gens. I am gonna put a 2 inch lift on my truck and some 17x9 rims, was wondering if I could have some pointers from people to get going in the right direction.

I’ve had some bfg all terrains ever since I bought my 03 double cab. Never got a flat tire. I off road constantly 2 months out of the year so I’ve tested these out. I had some 285 and now I have 265/75/17

Just fox 2.5 Coilovers in the front set at about 2.5 inch lift nothing major. I just switched to old man emu Coilovers with 883 springs to help with the weight of my bumper and winch. No rubbing issues.

The BFG T/A K02 is a solid choice depending on what you are looking for in your next tire. There is a Memorial Day Sale that started today at Discount Tire Direct that would save you some money on both tires and wheels.
