I’m about to start the LEO Academy. But I’m already rolling with the higher fire power for exactly that reason.

 

The leadtime is approximately 3 to 6 weeks from the date I submit the order to the shop. That would make delivery for everyone in group by number nine around mid June to early July

 

Also, can the OP conjure up a design for a molly set up over the front driver and passenger's head that connects to the truck's ceiling/interior roof? I would love to mount my CB radio up there and a trauma pouch kit... etc.... just a thought. Obviously, the design would have to take the window side airbags into consideration. I think others might be into this idea as well.

Damn guys... thanks for looking out! Grey Man Tactical's seriously legit! I'm in jersey so, despite being a cop for 11 years, I've got to remain very inconspicuous with my off duty appearance and what's visible within my vehicle. I'd likely get shot off duty by another cop if I openly displayed that kind of gear.

The M8 - 1.25x25 Metric bolts listed below are the ones that people are using to extend the larger bolts at the top of the panel? Due to the thickness of the panel, the originals are too short. No worries. Awesome product. Here's a semi-done picture. Got the panel yesterday, soundproofed it last night and this AM and finished the install (minus upper bolts) this AM. Easy enough.

Still working that out. The rear portion will be in the neighborhood of $300 +/-. Still working on the side pieces. There will be different prices depending if you bought 1, 2, or 3 pieces. They would be cheaper bought together as opposed to individually. Does that help?

 

Good luck in the academy. Law enforcement morale is at an all time low. Since Trump got in, there's been a shift in media coverage... thank God... but if you live in a democratic state and shit goes south while legally performing your duties... be prepared for your organization, governor, AG, neighbors, media, etc. to turn your world upside down. Happened to an academy classmate well into our careers... had to short-sell his recently renovated house because he and his family were recieving mailed death threats. Nobody cared about his prior reputation or the physical evidence. I've been in for 11.5 years, and given an opportunity... I'd quit in a heartbeat... and ironically, by arrest record and performance evals are stellar... I know I'm sounding like a salty Debbie-Downer... but trust me... I've helped a lot of people throughout my career, and those are the moments that make the job most rewarding. Still, it's not as great of a job as I anticipated. Just food for thought.

 

What's the best method of sound proofing? DYNOMAT? Is it even necessary? I don't have a power rear window either.
