Much liked! I had a '77 Bronco. Ranks towards the top of my all time favorites. Some people consider 'em as the first SUV! Mine started with a 302/auto. Ended up with a 400 cu in Cleveland. Loved that truck!

Would gladly own another one. They sell for $40K and up on Barret Jackson Auto Auctions. Saw one sell for $72K

Are you doing a front locker at the same time? 4.88 or 4.56 I've looked at the argument for either. I think 4.88 is better to lower revs, but 4.56 has better pinion engagement and some say is stronger.

302 bored .30 over with an auto in mine as well. A bronco buddy has a 400 in Cleveland in his and that is a tight fit! The early bronco is now rated right near the top of the most appreciated classic car.

Shoehorn fit...! Had to run a low profile air filter to clear the hood. Had to un-do motor mounts and raise engine to change plugs....

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.

Dad and I drove up to Cincinnati in 1998 and bought for $5,500 running and driving. It is a Ranger model so a little fancy for the year. Also had dealer installed air conditioning. You can hardly get one running and driving for that now. It has been restored since 2002

    I didn’t know they had a 400 Cleveland.
I’ve dealt with 351 Cleveland’s, but they were in Cougars.

starts as a 351 Cleveland but built it up to a 400 cubic inch. High compression motor!

If it weren't that wretched color orange, I'd probably find a way to take it off your hands.

(No offense, I simply hate with a fierce passion, the color orange.)
