Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I gotta agree w/ Danny. That's so close the filter would be just barely above the water. Not sure how he made it through that but dang. Balls of steel.

That's awesome. Gotta read through your build. I'm afraid to switch tanks on my truck.

I couldn't see doing it to be that difficult. For me I'd like to keep it street legal and my whole bed area is open. I'll probably just do a pan hard bar even though 4 link is more ideal.

Thinking of heading out to the Sierras this weekend...only ever been with my father to hike Mt. Whitney last year and Yosemite the year before, but haven't ever taken my truck out that way. Debating between Kings Canyon or heading further north toward Mammoth or June Lake...

cool I'll see what he's up to. That Laurel Lakes thread for the July trip is getting too big for my liking so thought about doing it solo myself this weekend, but apparently it's at ~10k elevation which is right about at elevation that you stop seeing trees so Rebecca doesn't want to go there, lol.

I'll have to look again, she's done more research today than I've been able to at work. I know the trail to get there is supposed to be the "highest road" in CA at close to 10k elevation, which is where you start to see less and less trees growing. I remember doing Mt. Whitney last year as soon as we hit ~11k elevation it was like we were transported to the surface of the moon. Not sure exactly where the lakes are at elevation wise though

hopefully it's not too bad, that side of the mountain doesn't usually seem to be as crowded as the rest of it though especially if you camp down toward the bottom/desert side deeper into those fire roads. Then again with it being a holiday weekend you never know

I'm staying home and modding lexus cause I haven't fixed truck yet.
Plenty of trees at 10k elevation. Kinda depends on where you go. Go to coyote flats just outside of Bishop. See my trip report.
