If you do go to black lugs, I would suggest buying Toyota or other reputable company. I foolishly went with some eBay knock off and had to replace them within a year. They faded and most of the black rubbed off from just doing tire rotations etc.

Because people complained about the grill talk. And I guess no one is modding their truck today.

I am guessing that it is 'cause nobody has done anything to their 3rd gen today.

I filled mine, but I don't think that is in the spirit of the thread. :D

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I'm saving my modding energy for the upcoming long weekend. The boxes are piling up and I need to whittle down their number.

Don't sweat the small stuff my friend. We all have access to the "ignore button" and it goes both ways. Last time I checked it was still America even if it is a shadow of its former self and free speech is still a constitutional right. We also have moderators that oversee things here to help keep us all civil. There is also another button to contact these folks and bring matters of concern to their attention if one would like to be more discreet and let the mods decide when feeling someone may have crossed the line.
Calling someone out is never a good idea. That fact and that contact button that I spoke of was pointed out to me by another very wise member when I called someone out for using a racial slur. I don't apologize for it but it could have been handled differently by allowing the powers that be handle it more discreetly without embarrassing someone.
So all that being said ramble on. I will do the same.
Now so I don't get called out by the PC Police my emblem tape just arrived. :stirthepot:
Now I can remove and reinstall my stainless Ducks Unlimited emblem on my tailgate.

I was in Oahu, Hawaii, on vacation in the fall of 2017. I had just taken delivery of my 2017 TRD OR (my salesman called me to ask me how I liked the truck, while we were at Pearl Harbour). I could not get over how many Tacomas I saw there. As common as a Ford 150 is here in Canada! I rarely see a Tacoma here.

I know....she always picks some out there sunglasses. Funny thing is she gets encouraged to do that since she always gets compliments on her ‘style’ from random people, mostly women. She also crochets ....including what she s wearing in this pic. I would NEVER have the patience to do that !
    Her instagram:
    https://www.instagram.com/madamecrochet14/
Another thing is she is Russian, originally born and raised in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka....even though it’s on mainland Russia across from Alaska, it’s isolated since the only way you can get there is by boat or plane....population at that time was ~150,000.
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
She grew up....err....survived Soviet times....so she came from a place that had little. She educated herself, 4 degrees, two are Masters, learned English at the age of 35, is fluent. She’s a brainiac.....can’t figure out why she picked me and my simple mind. ; ).
She moved to Moscow on her own not knowing anyone there.....13 million people.
    I met her there....of sorts.
Best part is she enjoys the simplest of things. She knows how chitty life can be....
She keeps the little kid in me alive.
    ; )

I thought about one of the purpose made covers for dogs, and it does sound like it would work well enough. I've been using moving blankets for everything under the sun for years, though. I might re-craft this cover out of one of the typical blue heavy duty moving blankets. Figured I would destroy something super cheap first, and see if I could make something close to what I had in mind.

I decided make the seat belt latches accessible, then shore it up a bit by stitching the side flaps up and stitching around the holes that I put in for the locking mechanisms, release pulls, and seat belt latches. Seat protection is now extended to kiddos!

How do you like the Decked system?

I am considering Decked system over a Tonneau cover.
