I'm jealous. I like Monkey Bridge in Ballard for Vietnamese sandwiches and pho.

Senor moose in Ballard. If you find yourself near the Skagit Valley there are about a million and one places up there. My personal favorite is Taqueria LaBamba.

    Had Na'an and Curry yesterday!

Peeps at work say that Melrose is the best steak around for the price. I might have to venture down there.

@rlx02 - might I suggest you locate the B&E Meats here -> 13024 Newcastle Way, Newcastle, WA, 98059

Speaking of indian. Have you guys gone to Spice King? It's a hole in the wall in Renton but I like it a lot more than Na'an and Curry. Better value, but Na'an and Curry is still good.

I've seen B&E Meats; the house I'm in is literally a 3 minute drive or 8 minute walk from there lol. Anything I should grab from there? Prime ribeyes?

I would say Melrose is probably the best steak house for the price too. We've been there once and the food is just as good as high end joints just minus the ambience.

    Damn I'm starving now lol.

Yeah not sure about downtown Seattle. Try asadero sinaloa in Ballard though. It's legit; not a tacos stand but authentic mexican food cooked over wood charcoal. But yeah, even the most authentic mexican places I've had here none have had the handmade tortillas like they have in LA.

Although I can say I've had bad Mexican food in Burbank. Didn't know that was possible.

Spice King is across the street from Toyota Renton, more South and West. Not yet visited, I have to be watchful of the gluten crap.

B&E is quite the meat-a-saurs experience and there is nothing that should be avoided there. The breakfast sausages are like no other. If they don't have what you are looking for, they can get it.

You still wont beat it. Even the Moody's Food truck that go on base at NASNI and Point Loma (and im sure all over) beat 90% of the stuff up here.

Last trip down there a guy who worked at the hotel we were staying at hung out with us a bunch. Think it was mostly cause he was underage but knew we'd let him drink with us lol. He would commute from Tijuana everyday though. But he took us to some absolutely amazing places in Chula Vista and closer to the boarder. Places I'd never go again without him. We were the only white people for miles Im sure. Would get mean mugged the second we got out of the car the whole time. Couple of the places he'd go up to some guy out on the corner and be pointing at our car pretty much telling them not to mess with it. Granted not sure a pathetic ass Mitsubishi Mirage is high on their list to mess with. There was no ordering in English. Our friend had to order everything for us. But man that was amazing food.

Sadly I dont know anywhere over there lol. I have a shop but it would be quite a drive for you since its on my side :) Normally I'd offer to help ya do it and save money but it would be the "backyard mechanic" way since I dont have the stuff to do out bearings the "right" way.

I know a bunch of guys have Mule do work so might be worth checking with them

I just read on his IG that one person bought 30 patches, a handful or more bought 10, a lot bought 5. He's down to less than 150 left apparently.

You could try Bothell Toyota Specialists. They did my timing belt a few years ago. Supposedly former dealership techs that left to start their own spot with less corporate-ness and use OEM parts.

At the very least the work was quick, not outrageously priced, and they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of BS.

I don't think I could possibly care less about how "authentic" a Mexican food place is. As I said, I am not a picky eater by any means. In my opinion, the only thing worse than a "foodie" rambling about their favorite new super "authentic" local spot that "you've probably never heard of but will be ruined by Yelp soon" is a cross-fitter talking about the new local "box" that's getting set up. Like the guy telling me about "REIGN" in the Highlands the other day. If you're looking for a chuckle, look at how much a membership costs. Or one training session.

Here's their website to make it easier.
