Yea, I think you will be pleasantly surprised once you get into it. I also had a Dodge 3/4 ton with the Cummins. Phhht, gimme the Tundra any day. There were times I would tow that trailer and forget I even had a OD cutoff switch. All that did was eat more gas. I never used it. And as long as you have a good brake controller you can get that Tundra up to any speed with that boat in no time. I actually had to remind myself it was back there.

I tell ya, I love the Tacoma. The lines are edgy, like me . It really brings out the kid in me. If I could have one thing from the Tundra or my 4Runner though, it would be more cabin room. I struggle a little with that. I am a bigger guy than most but what's worst is, I pimp the shit outta my rides. Guys 6' tall will get in a vehicle I drive and have to move the seat forward and reduce the recline. Basically I almost look out the back window of a sedan. I just like a lot of room when I drive. Hell, the Tundra had a center console that would hold a laptop. I barely have room for my radar detector now. But I do love my Taco.

Damn, that's a nice season to be involved with something. Judging by your boat it is not catch and release either right?

Yea, but don't ya just measure and throw the little ones back until that live well have only the biggest of the big? I guess I just never got into catch and release is all. I also never had that kind of luck to worry about limits unless it was river cats. Then it was how much weight we wanted to carry home and how much time we wanted to spend skinnin' them. Man I love me some fish. My wife loves Rock, says it's her favorite. Not too many people get into that one because they say it's oily. I think it is great. Of course I'll eat the ass outta a skunk if you cook it right.

I do my fair share of catch and release. Nothing in the bay gets me going more than a huge mess of perch though. I love perch. Makes a MEAN fish taco.

Yea, that is the shit. I would opt for that if I could but at the time it was not one. I did have the power slider though. I think they used to offer one with a bench seat too up front and a fold down console to make it a two seater. That is a nice feature if you need to haul 6.

all roof-rear vision glass(power) skares the shit outta me when the base warranty expires, that shit, no matter you get it repaired is :spending:, i have found that used sparingly, and keeping the tracks clean and all, xtends the longevity..:notsure:
