    Our little group of army buddies is starting to plan next years trip to Trask Mountain Oregon. The meet up point will be at or near Ft. Hood Texas. (We were all 3 stationed there for a short time) When dates are firmed up, I'll let you know (looks like April) so we can swing by and say hello.

    Yeah...I’m thinking more plans too. Bumper and winch...and if I do that I might have to go with 885s and UCAs...possibly adding Dakars if the truck sags loaded with the drawers I started...then a fridge

    I’ll be home the first half of July, but might go camping. Maybe next time off in September we can finally visit on the beach.

    I have had a stack of pine wood from trees I cut down 2 years ago. It was stacked around a maple at the end of my driveway, and I feared the maple was going to get girdled from it. Had a friend that wanted campfire wood, so he came today and we loaded up about 3/4 of the pile. I then thought, i really should get the rest stacked and moved from the tree, and mulch around the tree. Three hours later, done. I ruined some toad habitat in the process, but they’ll be fine. I tried to cut the grass, but wife said I should just have a beer instead. So I’ve had three.
