So I took my 09 by the dealer last week and mentioned the Rear leaf TSB for my 09 DC OR taco. It was dropped off this morning and is already done...should I expect anything different when I get it??

Slightly stiffer ride and a 1" lift in the rear until the springs settle. That's about it. Just better load carrying ability.

mine was about a 1.5 inches taller in the back after the TSB was installed.
Settled to about 1.0 inches taller than stock after about a week.
i put bilstein 5100s up front set at .85 to even the 1.0 inch increase in the back.

I didn't have any issues with the rear setteling, just the front.

I'm confused. The TSB doesn't have any effect on the front height.

My truck has bottomed out three times since december. Once with about 200lbs in the back and the last two with nothing in the back. I've schedueled an appointment to have it looked at, and I did not mention the TSB. We will see what they have to say.

Just begining, doing some research having some fun!!
Got my 2010 SR5 4X4 TRD back from the dealership today, rear leaf spring TSB & alignment done no questions asked whatsoever. 5000k oil change, brake adjust etc they couldn't have been nicer about the TSB. It rides a bit stiffer, but "nice" sits about 1 1/2 inches higher. Do it!!!

no just the rear height is effected. There is a TSB out for front and rear shocks though conserning a "harsh ride". I just checked TIS last night and found a bunch of TSB's that I never heard of before.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
I had mine done about six months ago. No noticeable difference in ride but it sits just a little higher in back. Load carrying is much improved and handling seems better. I use mine for a work rig and it spends about half the time on unpaved roads.
