ok, here's the picture i prommissed earlier.....can you believe you're paying 45-50K for lift blocks in the suspension.....not tomention that this particular truck has been indoors it's whole life traveling around to auto shows, and it already has rust starting!

I'd equate that to the Tacoma chrome bumper rusting on dealer lots...

Thanks, I was waiting for that lol

For a "long traveled" production truck in the demo vids I would expect to see a little more, maybe at least 2 wheels off the ground?

for that price you could buy a tacoma and put long travel on it...the raptor is definitely a good looking truck and ford had the right idea just really expensive

I'm suprised that with the expence of this truck and marketing it as a hardcore offroading vehicle, they would release these cheesy videos of their trucks driving over "groomed" terrain or very light conditions. It looks like none of these guys driving have ever set foot inside a truck, let alone gone offroading with one. In the second video they are suggesting that hill decent is new technology when I had this in my 20 year old SR5 4x4. You have to be kidding me. I have nothing against the Raptor... I even went to check it out at a local dealer and I liked the look of it. I do however have a big problem with Ford trying to market them as the be all and end all, when I would doubt it would fair any better than most other trucks out there, especially offroad. If you want to market your truck to a crowd that would use the truck for what it was intended, then I want to see a video of Ford taking their trucks to a known offroad site (the has some sort of obsticles) and let whomever they see in there do a head to head comparison against their own truck. That would impress me...
