They still keep the kids just closed the school down for awhile. Was a lot of money to keep it going from what I understood. Some rich person gave them money to open it back up this coming year.

Oh got ya so the school part is closed but the orphanage is still there. Well that's better then. Hopefully those kids will get a family and home sometime and glad an individual stepped up to help get the school back up and running (unless it's a really sleezeball place).

@HrBrad8 I think my favorite parts of the video where the thumbs up and the seeing the boys ride in Lockdown, now if he could add the video clip of the boys falling asleep in the buggy and your truck that would be priceless! Like that he added your video of Eddy storming up Dickie!

Guys, need help. Replaced my LCAs two days ago. Got gas today and noticed a fuck load of grease all over the LCA, Boot, break caliber, brake lines, and the back of the wheel well...

What could possibly cause this? It's only on the drivers side. Didn't notice anything coming out of the UCAs...

What he said ^^^^^^^ need to put a new boot on. Or you could just go get a new CV axle and then take this one off and take your time in replacing the boot and have it for a spare.

I started a shit show on my Scat Pack forum with this post. The sticky was on my invoice because I specifically asked the service advisor to ask the tech what could cause such a catastrophic failure of 5th gear.

I'm in no way taken back by the way it was written just the fact that such little weight from your hand/ arm. Plus the weight of the shifter would cause it.

My grandfather always told me never to use the shifter as a hand rest, but that was back in the late 70's and 80's. You would think with today's technology, they could build a trans that could stand up to a bit of weight.

And yes, I'm 100% guilty of doing this. Especially in 5th gear on long trips home.
And the dealer still covered it under warrenty.

Btw. So far I've found 4 different vehicle manufacture quick start manuals including my SRT manual. Audi, Ford, Chevy and Volkswagon as well, that specifically say. "Don't use your shifter as a hand rest"

I'm curious if any of you manual Toyota guys have ever spotted that in the quick start guide portion of you vehicle manual?

Never been a fan of Dodge but if I owned yours I’d trade it in based on that sticky note alone.

I mean, if when I went and picked it up today, if the tech came out and said "Hey, do you happen to rest your hand on the shifter"?

That would have been more cordial, but I wasn't even worried about that. I was more concerned that it's a brute of a transmission. the Tremac TR6060. And they should be able to withstand a few lbs of someone's hand resting on the knob.

Anyone else interested in a 12.5 foot hybrid fishing kayak by Native? Trying not to mess with FB or CL if I can!
