Well, I did my first bit of offroading here in Utah. I followed a service road up to the top of some mountain. I climbed about 2000 feet in a little over a mile, so the road was quite steep. I was really impressed with how the truck handled going up and down. I'm definitely going to have to find some more trails during my stay here.

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
Things on my to-do list for today:
    Oil change
    Diff oil change
    Plugs and wires
    UBJs
    Exhaust repair
Clean it for the first time in a year
    And a few other things

If I'm lucky I'll get two of them done.

I really wish there was a good group closer to home that could help me. @G.T. 's Mod Day would be awesome but it's just too far for a day trip.

G.t. has a large garage/shop in his backyard. Lots of tools to work with. We just meet up and work on trucks together to save money vs taking it into a shop. And to learn. Mainly toyotas.

Like Jessy said, we get together at my place and help each other get projects done. It’s mostly suspension swaps but we’ve tackled quite a few other projects as well with success. The next one will be next month so keep your eye on this thread as that’s where the announcement about the date is made.

Would anyone here be interested in purchasing my Thule feet and bars off of me. I'd prefer to sell them locally rather than post them to the for sale adds. I can bring them to the next mod day.

You would need to purchase the rails and the feet dont have key locks.

    Yeah.
Dang, I had a Harbor Freight one that I "recycled" when I moved down here to AR, they are pretty cheap and I got no interest on Craigslist at the time. I highly recommend packing the tubes with sand and welding caps on before attempting a bend -- otherwise, it will likely kink. Ask me how I know. You could talk to the guys at Shapiro, they may be able to hook you up with someone that can do the bends that you need for a small fee if you buy the steel from them.

Can we schedule this next mod day to be sooner rather than later. Any more waiting and I'll be tempted to sell my bumper again. The sooner the mod day, the sooner everything gets installed

Forts Trail Team will be at my place FRIDAY around five. They are heading to an event down south and were looking for a place to camp along the way.

Feel free to drop by to socialize for a bit if you like.

EDIT: I got the dates mixed up.
