Who said anything about a body lift? Not me.

I never said you specifically recommended spacers either. But you did recommend stacking two different lifts together (bracket style and a coilover/estension lift), which, IMO, is a bad idea.

Stacking lifts just means using two different suspension lift kits and adding them to get more height than EITHER was designed for = bad.

But since you brought up body lifts, a 3" body lift doesn't do anything to the suspension, so I would have less of a problem with adding a body lift to a suspension lift, rather than stacking 2 suspension lifts together. I have other reasons for not liking body lifts, but you can use one in conjunction with a suspension lift, as they are modifying two different parts of the vehicle.

some lifts wont work with a body lift, ive seen a few kits that say “dont work with body lift” idk what about tge kit that doesn’t allow a body lift or maybe they just say that so people don't lift the truck 9” then roll it over on the first u turn they take

Yeah, hadn't seen that before. Definitely weird since if any part of your suspension hits the body, you're doing it wrong, lol...

I've definitely seen people throw a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. Just the idea of a 3" body lift (let alone a 1") scares me.

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
I mentioned the body lift earlier, I thought you took it as that's what I'd do  I don't see a problem adding to a bracket lift as long as its not spacers. no different than lifting a stock truck 3"

Depends on the bracket lift, the procomp and ruff country already use like 6” spacers to achieve there lift. The fabtech one doesn’t so in theory you can add a 3” spacer to that

Wouldn't add a spacer to any of em, coilscoils or coilovers would be the way to go. I'm personally doing coilovers on mine in case I need a little more height

Looks like I'll just wait til after Boot to pay for a Fabtech lift and 33's, or 4's.

The only problem is I don't know where my Duty Station will be, or the regs for if I can even have a truck on base as a PVT or PFC

Don't take offence to this, but I honestly like how you're so willing to just open up your mouth any chance you get and tell people what they should be doing.
For one, you know nothing about my financial situation, zero clue on what career path I'm working towards, and you always want to be the "Wise guy" and tell everyone what they should and shouldn't be doing.

Thanks for your help, but your bullshit advice about anything personal about people is not needed.
You know nothing about me, other than I own a Tacoma....want to lift it...and aren't spending 3k which almost half of the trucks value for a lift and tires.

"Sorry to say but you kinda picked the wrong truck to make a mall crawler"

Your usage in "Mall Crawler" is also irrelevant to anyone,
its their money - their truck, they can make it look however they want and aren't doing anything just to please you.

Not trying to be an asshole, but don't open your mouth about things I "Should have" done when its not your place. When someone comes to this site for help on their truck, with regards to advice etc. thats all they are looking for.

The only helpful thing you've said, was "its better not to cheapen out on a lift that high and just spend your money on a fabtech one"

    Good day.

Never meant any disrespect to you, and was never talking about your financial stauts, my college remark was more to do about not haveing to be a pfc on a base so you can have more privileges.

Understandable, I assume you could understand how I was on the fence about what you meant by it.
