Anyone been to the Azuza off road park? Looking for something simple and not too far from Huntington Beach to take my cousin and his little kid (4ys) that won't take all day like cleghorn would be too long etc.

Azuza sucks donkey balls. And, considering the drive up the mountain, any extra time it take to make it to Cleghorn is negligible.

Azuza is closed until it opens up this upcoming Saturday. If you were considering Cleghorn i’d suggest driving a additional 20 minuets or so on the 15 north and go explore out at Stoddard Wells. And go and get some grub and drinks at Slash X Cafe.Main Divide and Santiago Peak are actually closer than Azuza,Cleghorn,SW.

The kid will have fun at Santiago Peak I'm sure and it IS much closer to HB for sure!!! I go up Santiago Peak, mostly night runs, pretty often.

Btw, when you are up at the towers, it can be quite confusing on how to get to that "parking lot" up there that overlooks OC. :goingcrazy:
