freshly washed, cut polished and waxed/sealed. took a day and a half but damn it's worth it

Got the ECGS bearing in recently, now I just need to get some 285's on her. Slowly but surely.

 

so...went to buy the satin paprika last night and found another color that i think may match better...Fire Orange...have any of you all tried this one?

 

Oh! Never heard of that one yet! Any test pics?

 

i'm going to do some testing this weekend..it's been raining non stop here for a few days so i haven't been able to properly paint anything...i'll post when i have them

 

Cool! Did you also snag a can of the Satin Paprika to do a side by side?

 

I can't remember but, I think when I was painting/making my grille emblem I compared 2 colors that were available at HD. I took 2 caps out to the truck and compared it against the paint; I know 1 was the satin Paprika and the other may have been that fire orange since it sounds familiar.

Just because I was also doing some paint matching of a sort...

I installed a Molle Panel System from @docloco (here). It's aluminum and he has his shop powder coat the panel at request. I ordered eight color swatches from the company they use to purchase their powder (https://www.prismaticpowders.com/) and ended up choosing the Fire Orange they offer. Below is a pic of the molle system and of the two color samples that matched closest. Not exact, but close enough for the molle. If I had to do something again, I'd get a couple more swatches that are close to the Fire Orange.

Yeah, nothing truly matches the Inferno (it would seem). Reminds me of a pearl paint job that changes based on the angle/lighting.

 

Yea, I can agree with that completely. I just did my 15k mile service and two guys in the service area were arguing whether or not it was the stock paint job or I had it done. LOL

Saw it when I went to get the satin paprika...went with the satin pap...glad I listened to @RobP62. Satin pap is pretty damn perfect especially for the d rings I put on
