Im leaving NYC at 4 something to get to VT at that time. We're going to be zombies

 

Haha. Yeah I've done that drive. It's a haul.

I wake up at 4pm Thursday, work till 6:45am Friday, and then finally get sleep I'm assuming about 30 hrs after I last woke Friday night around 10pm.

Who's bringing coffee ?

 

Also im driving 5h from VA to NYC

I mean I guess I'll have to kill an hour that morning on the river....

 

I think we are going to have to meet on the road, if we are going to meet. JC doesnt want to back track and go more west than needed.

We were thinking of taking the Bridgeport ferry or Orient Point ferry, and heading north from there. I am not good with directions, so I have no idea where I am going.

 

anyone consider going up Thursday to avoid the 3-4 am departure

That gorge is cool. I stopped there on my way home last September on the way back from a race at Killington. You can climb out on the rocks in the pool downstream you can see in the aerial imagery

 

Good for crops too. But indiscriminately kills the “good” bugs.

Was planning on coming up Friday morning, only 1.5 hrs, but maybe get a room instead, that way we can check out the gorge and not be rushing in the morning. My son has preschool graduation that day but I don’t think it goes too late.
