Search for trails within a radius of you, narrow down by trail ratings and view video and pictures before you go.

I would actually be down for the Cherokee park trails on Saturday and Sunday if anyone is interested. I'll be going for just a few hours on Monday, as well.

Easier to find trail runs on the Facespace. Haven't seen a group go on a trail run in this thread in awhile. Crawling parking lots is what's "in" right now.

Slaughter house is a fun trail, I’ve done 95% of yankee Hill too. Weather got pretty bad so we decided being above the timberline in a lightning storm was a bad idea

Sometimes the "seasonally open/closed" doesn't get changed exactly when it should since there's a ton of trails and it's still done manually for each, but all the info on there is the newest stuff. Most gpx files and write ups are less than two years old and at the bottom you have updates from people who've run the trails.

Okay, I’ve decided to run the Yankee trail system from Saturday morning to around 10 on Sunday! Sticking to 5s and lower as for difficulty. Will set a place to meet at 8, so we can meet and greet before we head off. Would appreciate any experience guys willing to lead or help if we get into sticky situations (especially with recovery gear). Will be camping overnight. Creating a facebook event for it now.

A long time ago, way back in the day, before TW and the internet, there was a thing called a US Forest Service Map.
These are still widely available at any US Forest Service location for free or maybe a small fee.
They list every road in any given forest with directions easily visible to the eye.
If a guy or chick wanted to go wheeling, you scoped out the map and chose a trail and went for it.
You didn't worry about how difficult it was, they aren't generally one way, you could always turn around if the comfort level wasn't there.
Every trail I wheel here I found with a paper map on my own and ran it.
    Be Adventurous.

Nice. I make a living with computers, so I think I'll use them here and get paper maps as a backup.

Yes there are lots of spurs to cruise around on up there. Yankee can be done in a morning
