That’s what I was thinking but if we were going to get up there late it wouldn’t be worth spending the money just to get up there to sleep. Think we would be up there around 8.

If anyone is planning to do this make sure to call the Walmart and make sure it's OK with them to do it 1st. Not all Walmart's let you sleep in their parking lots and none of them will let you pitch a tent

 

I'm not sure any will let you set up your ground tent. It's designed more for RVs, but I have slept for a few hours in a couple different wallmarts, the other option is a rest stop on the highway.

any Cabalas close buy they will let you camp , I think

 

Didn't know that. There is one in Scarborough Maine, but being 10 minutes from my house, I can offer a back yard that could hold a few tents.

I've also made a reservation at the quality inn. It would be about a two hour drive for me to get there but I would much rather make that drive Thursday evening than early Friday morning.

Just wanted to reiterate. @mach1man001 isnt asking for much. I got both a decent sized first aid kit, and small auto/marine fire extinguisher tonight at Walmart for about $25 total. I’ve seen your trucks.... I know you can all afford atleast $25. I really feel this is the absolute bare minimum to get (Atleast for the fire extinguisher)

I understand this isn’t the best first aid kit or the best fire extinguisher. But it’s certainly better than nothing and should (hopefully) do the job if needed (hopefully never needed)

 

How much is the room for a night? Im on the NH border and was just wondering.

 

I'll be bringing a paramedics first aid bag - it's missing a few things from use over the last drunken snowboarding trip I went on though.... I'll see if I can get another one before the trip. (for the record I am not trained in anything of such I only have the supplies...)

Along with a canned fire extinguisher and a traditional bottle one.
