Here you go! The only thing I might have done differently is the pads. They're 5.5" and the buffer is 6". Not a big deal and it still worked, but I had to be mindful of the exposed velcro and not bumping it into anything while working. They do make 6.5" pads as well which would be a better fit

Good deal man! Doubt I will clay bar it since I've stayed on washing it pretty regularly and the paint is still fairly new. Hopefully that will cut down on the time it takes to do the truck too!

I would highly recommend it still! Think clay bar is like a visit to a dentist. Even with staying on top of dental hygiene the best you can, there’s only so much you can do at home. The clay bar is actually the quickest step! You can do large chunks at a time (like an entire hood, or the whole door) so to do the whole truck would maybe be 15 minutes.

Edit: and not sure if you know or not but the point is to remove very minor surface contaminants, like hard water spots. Just another step to make it cleaner.

Like Randy said it would or you'll be grinding contaminants into the paint. You'd be surprised how much crap that clay bar will get even when you think your vehicle is clean!

Yeah it's been quiet in here today! Only thing I really have to update is that I'm getting my fridge on Tuesday afternoon, which is exciting.

For anyone with any interest in science or physics or engineering, this guy is AWESOME. Definitely check him out. He makes really cool things, and then explains the science behind it. Fascinating stuff.
