Dealers don't look at service history when determining your trade value. Hell they didn't even look at my 15 Tacoma, just did a walk around and shot a number. Kinda glad they didn't cause then they would see the cab mount chop, missing part of bumper where it was cut for the streamline, etc.

If the dealership you had the work done reports to CarFax or similar reporting company it will show up when they run it. That goes for any shop that reports to companies like that. When I bought my truck it had a laundry list of stuff on the CarFax report from maintenance to repairs some from independent shops some from dealerships.

I was trying to but I guess that failed :(

I'd rather be wheeling than installing leaf springs as well!

Yeah I never checked to see how fast they take the info and publish it.

On a side note @Matic why are you thinking about trading it in and for what?

Gross, what a day. I dont envy you folks in Charleston. That traffic blows. was tracking to be 30 mins early for a 10 am down on Savannah HWY, ended up 30 mins late. some incident on 26 E I believe. Took the scenic route, followed the idiot box, saw parts of Charleston I dont care to see again. Many neighborhoods.

good thing though, I got 250 miles to the light for some reason today, (have not gotten 250 in a very long time) ran it 24 miles past there, and put in 19.9 gallons. I recently cleaned the MAF which I never have done, can that have such a positive impact?

So I get done with my business, punch in work addy, 230, cool, be back in time to get some stuff done. NEWP. Sat on 77 N in Richburg for an hour due to accident. BLEH. I am raging right now.........now I get to fight it to the house

Tomorrow will be better, no? :D

Hope you get some good reimbursements for the amount of miles you put on your truck. To answer your question about the MAF there are so many variables in that scenario to make a definitive answer but cleaning a really nasty one can have some pretty big effects. If it's really dirty it can be sluggish or misread the amount of air. Also really nasty primary O2 sensors can make a difference after you change them out.

I hate traffic as well. I don't understand how people can live up N. or other major metropolitan areas with how congested they get.

I should probably change my air filter and clean the MAF after so many extremely dusty URE trips.
