    Just the basics
Looks cozy. I have that same heater and even in my old FWC it was too much for the space. I can only imagine how hot it gets inside a topper/shell. I'm planning on getting the smaller version for my new setup. I just got my bedrug too and was surprised how soft it is.

I didn't have to turn it on (actually I haven't turned it on yet in the shell), I just had it out just in case. We were camping on the beach so I was expecting it to get cold, but it stayed around 60ºF in the shell.

Finally got my flag for my shell. Did it in flat black. Was going to do silver but thought it may pop to much.

Sorry still trying to figure out this website but I've been looking on craigslist for a cap and they have this one on it. i was just wondering how you like it and if you don't mind saying how much you got yours for for comparison. I'm 6'2 so was kinda hoping for a bit taller one for camping in but like the idea of the windows for the dogs. do you camp in yours and do you find enough height? do you like the windows? do you have any suggestions for things to look for if i do go get it from the guy like things that break easy and i should see if its broken on his. thank you for your time. Love the way your truck looks

Find enough height for what? Calisthenics? No. I'm 5'9". When I sit on bed I have plenty of headroom, I can't kneel on the bed and straighten up however. I do camp in my truck and I sleep in the bed, I mainly use it for a sleeping compartment in that regards so I have plenty of room for that purpose. When I'm lying down straight with my feet flush against the tailgate I have about 2" of room between the top of my head and the bulkhead, I suspect that at 6'2" you won't fit without going diagonal or folding your knees.

The outdoorsman windoors are a must IMO. Especially in a long-bed, I like being able to open the windoors, reach in and grab whatever I need. It would be pain having to access the rear hatch and drop the tailgate every time I needed to get something that was up by the bulkhead. Having the screen on the windoors allow for some pretty good ventilation when I'm sleeping inside.

I bought mine from the dealer for $3200 with all the bells and whistles. Outdoorsman windoors both sides, tilt-down/sliding front window, carpeted headliner, 12V power outlet, dual LED light strips, Yakima tracks, and a SwingSafe. I wouldn't really know what to look for in a used one. Maybe check the hatch and window seals to make sure they aren't cracked/brittle. Check the locking mechanisms on the windoors and hatch. Make sure they have the key for all of those. Check the lip of the shell for any signs of collision damage.

I have some updated pics with camping setup on this post: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-me-your-shell.13598/page-350#post-17890596

Really wish vented windoor was an option when I got my shell, really thinking about shelling out some cash to have them switch mine.
