Looked around and couldn't find any posts on this, I noticed today that my tailgate is rubbing on the bottom left of my bed and the gap on both sides of the tailgate is uneven, its a 2017 Pro, hasn't been wrecked. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? And possible solutions. Thanks

Dealer body shop is the best solution- they will warranty it.

Mine was out of square due to parking on a steep sidehill with a heavy load, went back to normal afterwards. Did you carry something heavy back there or do anything different?

Like the above post take it to the dealer while your warranty is still good. I am going to mention it when I got for my 15k service mine isn’t as bad but I want it straight before my bumper to bumper is gone.

If I'm understanding the issue correctly, it sounds like something bed stiffeners would help prevent in the future after the dealer fixes the issue under warranty.

Do need stiffeners really do anything other than add cool points?

And thinking about it from an engineering standpoint, wouldn't you want the bed to be able to flex a little bit with the frame? If you put stiffeners on the bed then the stress would go elsewhere and end up with fatigue cracks somewhere in the bed... Maybe? Since the bed is a composite material, I would think the whole bed should be able to flex as a unit when the truck frame flexes to distribute the small amounts of twisting from daily use.

If there's another thread covering all the angles of the stiffeners please link it.

The tailgate on my truck was rubbing at the bottom too, I loosened all the star bit screws and pulled up on the cover and now have a small gap.

Maybe one of the vendors that make them can help provide some insight. I installed the ones from @CaliRaisedLed because I don't really want to deal with any of those tailgate gaps later down the road and am happy with them.

If there were long term issues with bed stiffeners causing other problems I'd think they would have popped up all over the forums by now.
