Wont windows 10 run older 16bit programs in comparability mode?

 

You mean 32bit? Should but you'll have to play with the compatibility settings.

 

Any given version of Windows is only backwards compatible one generation of programming. Almost all Win7s are 64bit versions. All Win10s are 64bit versions. 64bit version of the Windows environment will allow 32bit programming to run. Almost all WinXPs were 32bit versions. Vistas were 50/50, half were 32bit and half were 64bit.

If the software @HamerMan is using is running on his Win10 setup, it is not the same executable that @drr has linked to. Maybe there is a newer, 32bit version, because any code that runs on Win10 will not run on Win95/98 etc.

 

Thats the version I have. I'm running it fine on win10. I am running it in compatibility for XP service pack 2 with no issues. Be sure you do NOT use a usb to serial cable that uses any version of the Prolific drivers. They do not play with R4 well at all.

 

Could be, I think my old laptop that I use has 7 on it, seems to run fine.

 

The cable is the only issue I’ve had.

 

Yeah I’ve heard that can be an issue, I picked up a cheap cable on Amazon and no problems.

Today I finished up adding a marlin crawler crawl box to my truck.

 

I've driven my nearly stock 85 through tougher shit with less fuss.

I get anxious when the needle hits the quarter tank mark, I usually fill up before that point. Particularly so that I don't run into situations like this lol.

 

I was being cheap today and only put like 10$ in this morning. But i just filled my tank with some 91 because that’s all we get in cali or atleast up here. Cali gas suck
