Pretty sweet when you live locally(SoCal)and occasionally see a legendary skateboarder who remembers you and gives you a signed version of their skatetool!Ran into Christian himself at a Chevron gas station(Jamboree Rd.,Newport Beach CA.).So cool when he brings to your attention before me personally mentioning the fact that he remembers talking to me at the Skateboarders HOF(May 4th,2018)and his dad Ivan(Pops)and him signing my Hammerhead 25th anniversary deck/board.

 

And i just may roll over on Sunday depending on what the weekend has in store for this extended weekend.

 

Only Ron can invite pro skaters to his house for a jam session and get free signed stuff.

 

LMAO!Help me build the halfpipe along with Chan @bigbarlo already offering and potentially myself or us all can make that happen.Already got the green light several yr’s ago that it can happen.Surely not cheap to build properly but you know how my backyard is.

Great time yesterday(May 26th,2018)for the “Juice” magazine gathering honoring skateboarding HOF inductee Jeff Ho and rock band/punk/metal the Fakies.

Passing along the acknowledgment of my girlfriend who bought a single $5 raffle ticket during the event and won the pot!

She also enjoyed the company of legendary skateboarder Jim Gray 1970’s/1980’s(Blockhead,G&S,ACME etc.)and Jeff Ho(Zephyr,Dogtown).

Interesting day/evening indeed as it was like a reminder of a high school party from back in the days!

And a special shootout to a fantastic friend and TW member @BLKTRUCK for rolling through for the event along with his wife.

 

Thanks for the invite. We had a blast! We enjoyed meeting everyone. I didn’t know what to expect, it was a house on the Venice boardwalk. The band was on the balcony, people were outside on the walk and inside behind the band,It was wild.

Jeff Ho is a very nice guy. I was helping one of the guys move his amp when I ran into Jeff. He was trying to unlock the gate to the side but his code didn’t work. I looked up at the balcony and Dave had just walked in and I asked if he had the code for Jeff. He whispered it to us and we got the door open so Jeff could leave. I should have asked him who the guy in the ST jacket was. I still can’t place him.

I think we should have gone with the LOST creator back to his studio or to the bar afterwards. I think that would have been another story.

But thanks for letting us hang out with you.

Gotta ask here since this is TW afterall. Where's the best place to order rails for boards? I want to get some cheap ones to use as slides for a drawer system I plan to build for my taco. It will be similar to the following but only one drawer. I found some on slamazon for bout 8 a set. I'm gonna need six sets if they are 15" long.
