    In my 2010 I had a bolt break and shock was disengaged.. i wouldn't have noticed if that side of the bed wasn't 2 inches higher

    That happened on my passenger side rear. Got a little wild on that side until it was bolted back up.

    I'd definitely do it... I did ome shocks allowed you to use stock brake lines but once I allowed the leaf more flex with extended shocks my lines would have ripped apart
