Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.

    IT'S FRIDAY!!!

    Today I'm wearing my Wempe Zeitmeister Chronometer.

    Back when I ordered and purchased it, through the only Wempe North American store in New York city, straight from Germany.

    It's a classic timepiece and what I like most about this particular watch is that it wears well with whatever, whether dressed up in a suit and tie or sport coat and slacks or boots and jeans or just a plain t-shirt and shorts. It basically goes well with just about any attire.

    About four years ago I got this luminox 8802. This watch has put up with tons of crap, and when I worked on night shift the tritium lume made this watch the best. Right before the battery went out a month or so ago, I started getting fog on the inside of the crystal. That's when I started hunting a new everyday watch.


    Finally ordered a replacement the other day that should be there tomorrow. Went with the citizen bn0150. In the process, I should have never started looking at dive watches. Now I want an automatic, I'm intrigued by both the skx and the orient ray 2. Stuck with quartz with the citizen just for ease of use and accuracy.

    I posted my luminox a few pages back. It’s been on my wrist for every fire I’ve fought for 20 years. It’s been through some heat. I finally cracked the crystal so I sent it in for a rebuild. These things can take a beating....
