    Jk it is.

Front skid mounting bracket rubbed through the upper oil pan. Comparing to the other jk's with the same plate, company in Georgia installed the bracket in the wrong hole.

That's why I try to do as much of my own work as I can, unless I know someone that I'm sure knows wtf they are doing.

Removed skid, bracket, patched the hole and he's heading back to the front range.

    Back to dirt we go.

How many different ways can you make a old Coleman stove and resell it as EAF?

I would imagine those jobs will be really hurting in that time. Might be a good plan. Nothing wrong with blue collar. My 2 siblings got a formal education after high school and I spent that time getting work and they both work at coffee shops with bachelors degrees. Won’t be forever but in my opinion college isn’t helping much anymore.

I went...had a good time. @Martyinco is not far off-base. For example, there was a company that restored FJs for $80,000...but usually would end up 100k or more. Even though I have an old FJ shell that needs a lot of work, they won't take the donor from the customer as they can find better specimens to restore (in the rep's words). A lot of vendors were selling--rather than handing out or trading--patches for $7-10. Also, I bought an ammo can full of coffee-making stuff for $150 that I probably could have put together myself for 50. And I was sober! I'll post up a trip report here pretty soon.
